Testimonials

When I moved into my new house, I was shocked by how dirty and old the tiles in the entire house looked. I wasn't sure if they were supposed to be like that or if they were just really dirty. I decided to call Tile Cleaners and ask them to have a look and tell me what I could do to improve the look of my tiles. Tile Cleaners ® came the same weekend and managed to make my tiles look brand new. They also informed me that the sealer would protect my tiles for years to come. Amazing! Thank you guys! My floor looks gorgeous.

Thank you Tile Cleaners ® for dealing with the solvent sealer I had and resealing my hallway; I know it's a pain but you did a great job. I will definitely call you again as I need help with my tiles in the office.

Paul Gold, Gold Coast, QLD

I have several different freshly laid tiles in my new house. All pathways have stone tiles and there are marble tiles in the bathrooms and porcelain in the kitchen. I needed to get them sealed and was not sure if it was possible to seal them all. I contacted Tile Cleaners because my dad recommended them. He had a similar situation in his house and was very happy with the job Tile Cleaners had done. I was very worried about my tiles since they were brand new and very expensive. Tile Cleaners team were very patient with me, explaining how they were going to apply the sealer on different types of tiles, what sealer they would use, how long it would last for and advised me on how to take care of my tiles. I called Tile Cleaners a few times confirming details, asking for prices, making sure they could to the job during the weekend etc. The guys were amazingly patient and helpful. When I had gathered all the information I wanted, I was ready to go ahead. The work done by Tile Cleaners actually took less time than what it took me looking for information about it. Sorry for the pain I caused, and again thank you.

Other FAQs :

  • Q: Is it safe to have my Travertine tiles cleaned by professionals?
  • A: Yes, the Travertine tile cleaning services provided by Tile Cleaning are completely safe. We prioritize the use of high-quality water-based products that are specifically formulated for stone surfaces. Our team utilizes state-of-the-art cleaning machinery, ensuring that the cleaning solutions we employ do not compromise the condition of your Travertine tiles. It is important to note that stone-based tiles, such as Travertine, require special attention due to their porous nature. This is why we are dedicated to using the right products and equipment that are necessary for bringing your Travertine tiles back to their best possible condition. At Tile Cleaning, we take pride in our ability to cater to the specific requirements of each tile type, ensuring safe and effective cleaning results.
    • Q: Can Tile Cleaning remove stains from my Travertine floor?
    • A: Tile Cleaning may be able to remove a stain from your Travertine floor if it is relatively new and hasn't deeply penetrated the stone. However, we cannot provide a guarantee of complete stain removal; our commitment is to clean the area to the best possible condition. The effectiveness of stain removal also depends on whether the Travertine tiles have been previously sealed or not. In some cases, stains may have penetrated the natural stone and settled beneath the surface, making them more challenging to clean. It is important to consider having us perform a comprehensive process of stripping, cleaning, and sealing your Travertine floor. This ensures that future stains are prevented from penetrating the surface and enhances the overall stain resistance of your Travertine floors.
      • Q: What steps should I take to prepare for the cleaning of my Travertine floors?
      • A: To prepare for the cleaning of your Travertine floors, it is necessary to remove all furniture and items from the floor. This ensures that the area is clear and ready for the cleaning process when our team arrives. By moving furniture and items off the floor, you enable our technicians to have unobstructed access and provide thorough cleaning to your Travertine floors.
        • Q: How would you define Travertine?
        • A: Travertine is a type of limestone that falls between marble and limestone in terms of its development over thousands of years. It is formed by the rapid precipitation of calcium carbonate in mineral springs, hot springs, underground rivers, and other water sources. Travertine typically displays a fibrous or concentric appearance and comes in various colors such as white, tan, and cream. It can be found in formations like stalactites, stalagmites, and other speleothems in limestone caves or at the mouths of hot springs. Travertine is commonly used as a construction material in Italy and other regions. It is important to note that travertine tiles are often porous and susceptible to staining due to the presence of escape gases during its formation. Therefore, professionally sealing porous travertine tiles is crucial, especially when they are exposed to domestic dirt or residue.
          • Q: What is the recommended method for measuring the size of a Travertine area?
          • A: To measure the size of a Travertine area, it is recommended to measure each room individually. The measurement is calculated by multiplying the width of the room by its length. For instance, if a room is 3 meters long and 2 meters wide, the total area would be calculated as 3 multiplied by 2, resulting in a total of 6 square meters. By measuring each room separately, you can accurately determine the total size of the Travertine area.
