Testimonials

We got our tiles more than 25 years ago. We were told that we had a solvent sealer on our tiles, which apparently most companies wouldn't be able to strip off. However we rang a couple of places to check them out. No luck. A friend of mine recommended Tile Cleaners. We rang the guys and they agreed to have a look the next day. We decided to go ahead with the job after getting a satisfactory quote. Tile Cleaners team stripped and resealed our old tiles. We are very grateful for your help guys. Thank you again.

I just got new tiles laid in my house that were very expensive. I needed to get them sealed but couldn't afford to pay much for it. On the other hand I didn't want to go for a company offering cheap and unreliably services. My boss recommended Tile Cleaners, saying that the company's prices were reasonable and that they offered quality service when he used them. I contacted them and ended up doing a booking with them. It is very pleasant to know that there are companies out there who actually care about providing very high quality services for affordable prices. I gave your contacts to my sister. Thank you for the job you did

I was about to sell my business and wanted to clean and reseal my vinyl floors to improve the looks of them before having people over for inspection of the property. I did a booking with another company but was horrified when I realized that my floor was back to its horrible look in less than two weeks. I carefully looked up other cleaning companies, scared that I would chose the wrong cleaning company. A friend of mine recommended Tile Cleaners, but after what happened to my floor last time I got it cleaned I was really skeptic, but gave it a go. All I can say is thank you guys so much for a quick response and a good job. I sold the office and left your contact details with the new owner for future cleaning.

Other FAQs :

  • Q: What should I do to prepare for the surface grinding?
  • A: We recommend that you measure each rooMove all furniture and items off the floor so it is ready for when we arrive.
    • Q: How long will it take to grind my bluestone surfaces?
    • A: This will depend on the size of the area; larger jobs can require up to 3 days while grinding a bench-top can take up to half a day. Tile Cleaners® do try to ensure work is completed within the same day to avoid as much disruption to your home or business as possible.
      • Q: Will grinding remove the sealer from my bluestone?
      • A: Yes, the mechanical resurfacing process used to grind your floors will remove all coatings, resulting in your floors being in an "as new" condition. Once honed or polished, you should reseal your surfaces with a deep penetrating, impregnating sealer, which avoids staining and will reduce the effect of soiling.
        • Q: What different types of tiles do Tile Cleaners grind?
        • A: Indoor and outdoor areas, polished, matte finish, porous, pre-sealed, wherever you have tiles we have a restoration solution. External tiles, natural stone paver's, all bathroom tiles and wall tiles. Tile Cleaners® grind marble, sandstone, granite, bluestone, travertine and limestone.
          • Q: What is the difference between honing and grinding?
          • A: Grinding refers to the removal of large amounts of material from the surface of the stone. Grinding is used to remove deep scratches and staining as well as lippage(uneven surface) thereby smoothing out the surface of the area making it uniform. Honing is the smoothing of the stone, not as aggressive as grinding and removes very little material from the stone, giving a matte(not glossy as with polishing) look to the surface.
