Testimonials

I have several different freshly laid tiles in my new house. All pathways have stone tiles and there are marble tiles in the bathrooms and porcelain in the kitchen. I needed to get them sealed and was not sure if it was possible to seal them all. I contacted Tile Cleaners because my dad recommended them. He had a similar situation in his house and was very happy with the job Tile Cleaners had done. I was very worried about my tiles since they were brand new and very expensive. Tile Cleaners team were very patient with me, explaining how they were going to apply the sealer on different types of tiles, what sealer they would use, how long it would last for and advised me on how to take care of my tiles. I called Tile Cleaners a few times confirming details, asking for prices, making sure they could to the job during the weekend etc. The guys were amazingly patient and helpful. When I had gathered all the information I wanted, I was ready to go ahead. The work done by Tile Cleaners actually took less time than what it took me looking for information about it. Sorry for the pain I caused, and again thank you.

I was about to sell my house, but was not happy with the tiles in the dining area. The tiles were white and shiny but the grout looked really dark and dirty. I already had a potential client; however the dark grout ruined the beauty of the room. I didn't have much time to fix the grout and decided to call Tile Cleaners as my real estate agency mentioned them. As my real estate agent said, Tile cleaners responded really quickly. They also pointed out that some of the grout was coming off in the hallway when they were there, which I had not even noticed. Thank you for fixing my problem so quickly. The house is sold now and I left your details with the new owner so they can keep the tiles in good condition.

I was about to sell my business and wanted to clean and reseal my vinyl floors to improve the looks of them before having people over for inspection of the property. I did a booking with another company but was horrified when I realized that my floor was back to its horrible look in less than two weeks. I carefully looked up other cleaning companies, scared that I would chose the wrong cleaning company. A friend of mine recommended Tile Cleaners, but after what happened to my floor last time I got it cleaned I was really skeptic, but gave it a go. All I can say is thank you guys so much for a quick response and a good job. I sold the office and left your contact details with the new owner for future cleaning.

Other FAQs :

  • Q: What is floor stripping?
  • A: The process of stripping a floor is to ensure that all necessary old and worn sealer is removed; once removed your sandstone tiles can be resealed.
    • Q: What measures can I take to maintain the fresh appearance of my sandstone tiles?
    • A: To maintain the new look of your sandstone tiles, Tile Cleaning recommends weekly cleaning using a damp microfiber cloth and a mild detergent. This will effectively remove any dirt or grime from the surface. It is important to avoid using strong detergents or cleaners that are acidic or alkaline, as they can affect the sealer. Instead, opt for mild detergents and pH-neutral substances for safe cleaning. To provide the best protection against staining and make regular maintenance easier, we highly recommend sealing your sandstone tiles with one of our highest quality sealers. Sealing not only safeguards your tiles but also enhances their longevity and appearance.
      • Q: How can I determine when it is time to clean, strip, and reseal my sandstone floors?
      • A: You'll know it's time to strip, clean, and seal your sandstone floors when they start to lose their shine and appear dull, even after regular cleaning. Additionally, if you notice that your sandstone tiles are becoming more prone to staining, it's a clear sign that the previous sealer has worn off, and it's important to reseal the sandstone promptly to avoid permanent stains.
        • Q: Why do I need to strip my sandstone floors?
        • A: If you want your sandstone floors to be their cleanest and looking their very best you need to have a professional remove as much of the old sealer as possible. Once this is done the cleaning process will be carried out and the sealer applied. You will have the freshest and cleanest possible sandstone floors once we are finished with the process.
          • Q: What happens if I don't seal my sandstone floors?
          • A: Sandstone floors can damage easily, any oily or harsh spills can damage the sandstone tiles and penetrate the pores leaving a permanent stain, unreachable by domestic cleaning methods. We strongly recommend sealing you sandstone tiles to keep their natural look and feel, to protect them against permanent staining and to prevent any future accidental damage. They will look their very best for longer and will be easier and more convenient to maintain.
