Testimonials

Thank you Tile Cleaners ® for dealing with the solvent sealer I had and resealing my hallway; I know it's a pain but you did a great job. I will definitely call you again as I need help with my tiles in the office.

Paul Gold, Gold Coast, QLD

I noticed that some of the tiles in my bathroom walls were loose and the grout was coming off. I am a very busy so kept on postponing calling someone to fix it. One day I got home and the loose tiles were lying broken on the floor. Can you imagine my frustration? I rang my brother in panic and he gave me Tile Cleaners' contact details. I rang them straight away. The guys told me I needed a tiler and professional regrouting work done so I thought it would take ages to fix my problem. However they organized the work very well. I had my tiles fixed on Friday night the same week and the entire bathroom regrouted on Saturday. Thank you some much for your quick help; it was such a relief.

Kerry McMyre, Mosman, NSW

I have several different freshly laid tiles in my new house. All pathways have stone tiles and there are marble tiles in the bathrooms and porcelain in the kitchen. I needed to get them sealed and was not sure if it was possible to seal them all. I contacted Tile Cleaners because my dad recommended them. He had a similar situation in his house and was very happy with the job Tile Cleaners had done. I was very worried about my tiles since they were brand new and very expensive. Tile Cleaners team were very patient with me, explaining how they were going to apply the sealer on different types of tiles, what sealer they would use, how long it would last for and advised me on how to take care of my tiles. I called Tile Cleaners a few times confirming details, asking for prices, making sure they could to the job during the weekend etc. The guys were amazingly patient and helpful. When I had gathered all the information I wanted, I was ready to go ahead. The work done by Tile Cleaners actually took less time than what it took me looking for information about it. Sorry for the pain I caused, and again thank you.

Other FAQs :

  • Q: Does Tile Cleaning offer assistance with moving furniture when sealing the floor?
  • A: Tile Cleaning provides assistance with moving furniture during the floor sealing process. Their team of dedicated technicians is available to help with the relocation of furniture items that can be reasonably managed by one person, such as those with wheels or lightweight furniture like tables and chairs. However, it is important to keep in mind that while Tile Cleaning takes precautions to protect your belongings, they cannot be held responsible for any damages that may occur during the furniture moving process. To ensure the safety of valuable or fragile items, it is recommended to either relocate them to a secure area or properly secure them before the technicians arrive. By taking these necessary precautions, you can help ensure the safety of your furniture and minimize the risk of potential damage while the floor sealing process is being carried out.
    • Q: How do I know when my quarry tile floors are ready for cleaning, stripping and resealing?
    • A: You will know it's time to have your quarry tile floors stripped, cleaned and sealed once they begin to appear dull or "matte" even after you have given them an efficient regular clean. If you notice that your quarry tiles are staining easily, it's a good indication that your previous sealer is wearing off and your quarry tile floors will need to be resealed immediately to prevent permanent staining.
      • Q: Efflorescence has built up on my quarry tiles. Can you remove it?
      • A: Yes we can. Efflorescence is a build up of salts and can be removed with efflorescence removers and other specialised cleaning techniques. Efflorescence is typically caused by a leakage behind the quarry tiles or through damaged grout lines. The efflorescence can be removed but it is important the cause of the efflorescence is resoled.
        • Q: How often should I seal my quarry tile floors?
        • A: It depends on the type of sealer used and the amount of foot traffic the quarry tiles are being exposed to. Australia's Deepshield® range of deep impregnating water based sealer's, offer long term benefits with Deepshield Gold® lasting up to 15 years. Topical sealer's have a life expectancy of around 3 years. If you have a high amount of foot traffic or perhaps severe weather conditions(for outdoor tiles), you may experience a shorter lifetime. Sealing your quarry tiles can also depend on the tiles condition. Once they start showing patchy areas and are staining easily then you should have them resealed. Give us a call and we can assist you with all your enquiries.
          • Q: What can I expect in terms of mess during the stripping and sealing process of terracotta tiles, and is there a risk of damaging walls or skirting boards?
          • A: At Tile Cleaning, we take great care to minimize mess during the stripping and sealing process of terracotta tiles. Our approach involves using high-quality, non-solvent-based stripping and sealing products, which are designed to ensure a clean and tidy process. These products are specifically selected to minimize the risk of damaging your floors, walls, or skirting boards. Our team of technicians is trained to handle the process with utmost care, ensuring that your surfaces are protected throughout. In most cases, non-solvent-based strippers and techniques are used, which effectively achieve excellent results without causing any harm. However, in rare circumstances where solvent-based strippers are necessary, additional precautions may be taken. This could involve temporarily vacating the premises for up to 48 hours to ensure safety and provide optimal protection. Rest assured that our experienced technicians will take all necessary measures to maintain a clean and damage-free environment during the stripping and sealing process.
