Testimonials

My mother's tiles were old and ugly, as she has been living in the same house her entire life without ever really taking care of her tiles. I called Tile Cleaners to get advice on what to do with them. They came to her house the next day to have a look at my mum's tiles. I am very satisfied with how patient and highly professional you were with my mother. I am sorry I couldn't be there when you arrived, and I am really impressed by how you managed to explain everything to my mom and help her out. Thank you for doing a great job.

Angela Coopers, Concord, NSW

I was about to sell my house, but was not happy with the tiles in the dining area. The tiles were white and shiny but the grout looked really dark and dirty. I already had a potential client; however the dark grout ruined the beauty of the room. I didn't have much time to fix the grout and decided to call Tile Cleaners as my real estate agency mentioned them. As my real estate agent said, Tile cleaners responded really quickly. They also pointed out that some of the grout was coming off in the hallway when they were there, which I had not even noticed. Thank you for fixing my problem so quickly. The house is sold now and I left your details with the new owner so they can keep the tiles in good condition.

I just got new tiles laid in my house that were very expensive. I needed to get them sealed but couldn't afford to pay much for it. On the other hand I didn't want to go for a company offering cheap and unreliably services. My boss recommended Tile Cleaners, saying that the company's prices were reasonable and that they offered quality service when he used them. I contacted them and ended up doing a booking with them. It is very pleasant to know that there are companies out there who actually care about providing very high quality services for affordable prices. I gave your contacts to my sister. Thank you for the job you did

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the difference between your honing service and polishing service? - Stone Honing

  • A: Honing and polishing produce fairly opposite results. Polishing produces a glossy finish while honing produces a more matte finish. Honed surfaces can hide some imperfections such as scratches, and some everyday dirt, whereas polishing will reflect light and imperfections more than a honed surface.

Other FAQs :

  • Q: Is honing my stone a messy process?
  • A: Most of our procedures use water in order to minimise dust production. Honing will create a slurry, however by employing state-of-the-art equipment and our years of expertise, once finished your surfaces will be left in their best possible condition.
    • Q: Will honing remove the sealer from my stone?
    • A: Yes, the mechanical resurfacing process used to hone your floors will remove all coatings, resulting in your floors being in an "as new" condition. Once honed, you should reseal your surfaces with a deep penetrating, impregnating sealer, which avoids staining and will reduce the effect of soiling.
      • Q: Can honing leave my floors shiny?
      • A: No, honing produces the opposite effect to having your floors polished. Honing will result in a smooth, matte, non reflective finish and will only appear shiny, or glossy where the honing process is followed by a polishing process.
        • Q: Are your products toxic?
        • A: Here at Tile Cleaners® we understand the importance of your family's safety, which is why Tile Cleaners® prefer to use non-toxic finishing agents as we not only want to protect your floors, but your families health too. Materials and agents that present potential health hazards are not in our product portfolio and never have been.
          • Q: What different types of tiles do Tile Cleaners hone?
          • A: Indoor and outdoor areas, polished, matte finish, porous, pre-sealed, wherever you have tiles we have a restoration solution. External tiles, natural stone paver's, all bathroom tiles and wall tiles. Tile Cleaners® cater for each and every different type of surface you might have.
