Testimonials

When I moved into my new house, I was shocked by how dirty and old the tiles in the entire house looked. I wasn't sure if they were supposed to be like that or if they were just really dirty. I decided to call Tile Cleaners and ask them to have a look and tell me what I could do to improve the look of my tiles. Tile Cleaners ® came the same weekend and managed to make my tiles look brand new. They also informed me that the sealer would protect my tiles for years to come. Amazing! Thank you guys! My floor looks gorgeous.

My mother's tiles were old and ugly, as she has been living in the same house her entire life without ever really taking care of her tiles. I called Tile Cleaners to get advice on what to do with them. They came to her house the next day to have a look at my mum's tiles. I am very satisfied with how patient and highly professional you were with my mother. I am sorry I couldn't be there when you arrived, and I am really impressed by how you managed to explain everything to my mom and help her out. Thank you for doing a great job.

I have several different freshly laid tiles in my new house. All pathways have stone tiles and there are marble tiles in the bathrooms and porcelain in the kitchen. I needed to get them sealed and was not sure if it was possible to seal them all. I contacted Tile Cleaners because my dad recommended them. He had a similar situation in his house and was very happy with the job Tile Cleaners had done. I was very worried about my tiles since they were brand new and very expensive. Tile Cleaners team were very patient with me, explaining how they were going to apply the sealer on different types of tiles, what sealer they would use, how long it would last for and advised me on how to take care of my tiles. I called Tile Cleaners a few times confirming details, asking for prices, making sure they could to the job during the weekend etc. The guys were amazingly patient and helpful. When I had gathered all the information I wanted, I was ready to go ahead. The work done by Tile Cleaners actually took less time than what it took me looking for information about it. Sorry for the pain I caused, and again thank you.

Other FAQs :

  • Q: What are the reasons for needing regrouting, and what are the benefits of regrouting?
  • A: Regrouting offers several advantages compared to retiling and is often recommended when the tiles are in good condition but the grout is starting to deteriorate. One of the primary benefits is the significant improvement it brings to the overall appearance of any tiled area. By regrouting, you can restore that fresh and clean look at an affordable price that accommodates various budgets. Regrouting is suitable for all tiled areas, making it a versatile solution. Moreover, regrouting is a cost-effective option that requires less time compared to retiling. Additionally, it is an environmentally friendly choice as it helps reduce carbon emissions by avoiding the need for extensive retiling. Overall, regrouting provides a cost-efficient, time-saving, and environmentally conscious way to enhance the appearance and longevity of your tiled surfaces.
    • Q: How does regrouting differ from cleaning and sealing the grout?
    • A: Cleaning the grout involves the use of specialized machines to remove dirt and dust, ensuring a clean surface for applying the sealer. This process eliminates any barrier layers between the grout and the sealer, allowing for effective adhesion. The sealer is then applied using appropriate tools, depending on the tile condition and setting. On the other hand, regrouting entails replacing the old grout between tiles with new grout. Tile Cleaners® utilize a mechanical tool to scrub out the old grout, followed by a thorough cleaning process. Afterward, new grout is applied between the tiles. These are distinct processes, and it's possible that after regrouting, you may still need to clean and seal the grout to ensure optimal protection and maintenance.
      • Q: Is it necessary to seal the grout after regrouting?
      • A: Once the regrouting process is complete, it is highly recommended by Tile Cleaners® to seal the newly applied grout. Sealing the grout helps in extending its lifespan and preserving its fresh appearance. The sealer acts as a protective barrier, shielding the grout from stains, dirt, and grime. Additionally, sealed grout is easier to clean and maintain, as the sealer prevents substances from penetrating into the grout pores. By applying a sealer to the regrouted area, you can ensure that the grout remains in excellent condition and simplify the cleaning process, making it safer and more efficient.
        • Q: Which types of tiles can be regrouted?
        • A: Tile Cleaning are equipped to assist with regrouting for a wide range of tile types. They have the expertise and experience to handle most types of tiles, ensuring a professional and effective regrouting process. Whether you have ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles, natural stone tiles, mosaic tiles, or any other common tile material, Tile Cleaning can provide the necessary services to rejuvenate and enhance the appearance of your tiled surfaces. Their team is knowledgeable about the specific requirements and techniques for regrouting different tile types, ensuring optimal results for each unique case.
          • Q: How can I determine when it is necessary to have regrouting done?
          • A: It is important to consider regrouting as soon as signs of yellowing, mold growth, discoloration, or the grout starting to deteriorate become noticeable. While the damaged grout may not appear too severe on the surface, it can create a potentially hazardous situation behind the tiles. In some cases, the grout may be leaking water, which could be attributed to missing or cracked grout. Even small holes or hairline cracks can lead to significant issues. Therefore, it is crucial to address these issues promptly by opting for regrouting. By doing so, you can prevent further damage, maintain the integrity of the tiled surface, and mitigate any potential water damage or structural problems that may arise.
