Testimonials

Thank you Tile Cleaners ® for dealing with the solvent sealer I had and resealing my hallway; I know it's a pain but you did a great job. I will definitely call you again as I need help with my tiles in the office.

Paul Gold, Gold Coast, QLD

I was about to sell my house, but was not happy with the tiles in the dining area. The tiles were white and shiny but the grout looked really dark and dirty. I already had a potential client; however the dark grout ruined the beauty of the room. I didn't have much time to fix the grout and decided to call Tile Cleaners as my real estate agency mentioned them. As my real estate agent said, Tile cleaners responded really quickly. They also pointed out that some of the grout was coming off in the hallway when they were there, which I had not even noticed. Thank you for fixing my problem so quickly. The house is sold now and I left your details with the new owner so they can keep the tiles in good condition.

Anna Rodwell, Tingalpa, QLD

I have several different freshly laid tiles in my new house. All pathways have stone tiles and there are marble tiles in the bathrooms and porcelain in the kitchen. I needed to get them sealed and was not sure if it was possible to seal them all. I contacted Tile Cleaners because my dad recommended them. He had a similar situation in his house and was very happy with the job Tile Cleaners had done. I was very worried about my tiles since they were brand new and very expensive. Tile Cleaners team were very patient with me, explaining how they were going to apply the sealer on different types of tiles, what sealer they would use, how long it would last for and advised me on how to take care of my tiles. I called Tile Cleaners a few times confirming details, asking for prices, making sure they could to the job during the weekend etc. The guys were amazingly patient and helpful. When I had gathered all the information I wanted, I was ready to go ahead. The work done by Tile Cleaners actually took less time than what it took me looking for information about it. Sorry for the pain I caused, and again thank you.

Frequently Asked Questions

vinyl floor sealing

Other FAQs :

  • Q: How often is it recommended to reseal vinyl or lino floors?
  • A: The recommended frequency for resealing vinyl or linoleum floors varies depending on factors like usage and foot traffic. Commercial floors, subject to heavy use, generally require resealing every one to two years to maintain their condition and protection. In residential settings, the frequency can range from every three to ten years, depending on the level of foot traffic and usage. Factors such as the quality of the sealer used and the application process also influence the longevity of the seal. Opting for professional sealing services ensures optimal results, extends the durability of the seal, and can potentially save time and money in the long term.
    • Q: Could you provide an overview of the process involved when you come to reseal vinyl/lino floors?
    • A: When our professional team arrives to reseal your vinyl/lino floors, they will provide you with a step-by-step explanation of the entire process. Firstly, the floor will undergo a stripping procedure to ensure complete removal of the old sealer. This step is crucial to create a clean surface. Next, the floor will be thoroughly cleaned and neutralized, removing any dust, residue, or contaminants that may impact the new sealer. Once the floor is dry, the new sealer will be applied and allowed to set. The result will be a rejuvenated floor that not only looks new but also offers enhanced protection and easier maintenance. By following this comprehensive process, we ensure that your vinyl/lino floors receive optimal sealing treatment, leaving them in excellent condition.
      • Q: Could you please explain the process of stripping and sealing vinyl or linoleum floors?
      • A: The vinyl strip and seal process involves the removal of the current coating or sealant from the vinyl floor, followed by resealing it. Over time, vinyl flooring can become dull and lose its shine, resulting in an aged and unappealing appearance. By performing a strip and seal procedure, the vinyl floor can be revitalized, restoring its attractive and glossy look. This process eliminates the need for expensive floor replacement and offers a cost-effective solution to enhance the overall aesthetic appeal of the area.
        • Q: How long does it typically take to reseal vinyl or linoleum floors?
        • A: The time required to reseal vinyl or linoleum floors can vary based on the size of the area being sealed. On average, most projects are completed within 4 to 8 hours. At our company, we prioritize efficiency by aiming to complete the stripping, cleaning, and resealing processes in a single day. This approach eliminates the need for multiple appointments and ensures a smooth experience for our customers. Our dedicated team works diligently to complete the resealing process within a reasonable timeframe, allowing you to enjoy your revitalized vinyl or linoleum floors as soon as possible.
          • Q: What is the expected lifespan of the sealer applied to vinyl/lino floors?
          • A: The lifespan of the sealer applied to vinyl/lino floors can vary depending on various factors. Generally, the sealer should be reapplied when the coating starts to wear away in certain areas, indicating that the protection is diminishing. It's important to note that terms like sealers, polishes, and finishes are sometimes used interchangeably, and certain polishes may offer sealing properties while some products labeled as finishers can actually act as sealants. When purchasing products, it is crucial to carefully inspect their properties and ensure they meet your specific sealing requirements. Regular inspections and maintenance can help determine when resealing is necessary to maintain the durability and protection of your vinyl/lino floors.
